Flock, a new web browser based on Firefox lauches today. For anyone that currently uses Firefox you should feel right at home using it. Its got some intresting features to boast about, including a built-in RSS reader that brings all the news you want right to you! It also come with a built-in blogger that intergrates with a few populare blogging services, so you can post at the touch of a button. Seems like this new browser could hold alot of potential. Maybe in the near future we could post new photos/drawing/etc. through it via RSS and a few plug-ins? Mayhaps...

What do you think?

I applied for a beta of Flock a long time ago, but I can't really say I'm very interested in it anymore. I switched to Firefox for its lightness and I don't really have a use for many of the features of it.

As for RSS, we actually currently offer RSS feeds on a by-author basis. (The feature isn't shown anywhere yet because we're expanding on it). Once we get the updated RSS engine up, maybe we'll test it in Flock.

I heard that Flock wasn't really that impressive.

I won't bother trying it out. I have no need for it's tools.

Flock can't even touch Firefox. Memory leaks and bloat abound with this browser.

Plus, everything that sets it apart from Firefox can easily be accomplished in Firefox with extensions.
