PSP glory. Right Neppy?

I want a PSP, but basically only for multimedia on the go. How is battery life when watching something on a memory stick?

Miguel on September 5th, 2005 at 9:46:42 AM

I haven't like, tested it or anything. But I'm assuming video off of a memory stick would be like 5 hours or so

Music probably around 10 if you turn the screen off and use the remote.

UMD movies, probably like 3 hours.

Five is about what I would expect from it, which leaves me slightly torn still. I don't know if I actually want one or not. One thing is for sure, I doubt I'll pay as much for it as they are currently going for. I'd have to catch a pretty good deal.

If you just want a dedicated video player you're probably better off with something else though. PSP only supports .AVC and .MP4 at the moment. I think.

AC3 and MP3 though

I'm all set as far as audio goes. Got myself a nice little iPod. I mainly only want the video, but I like the idea of being able to play games as well, should there be any I like.

Some idiot on the bus today lost all of his games to his PSP somehow, and kept asking me if I could check under my seat.... what an idiot. Not my problem. But, my casual attitude toward the situation prolly made him think I took 'em.

What type of idiot brings a PSP and games on a 20 minute busride? A freshman idiot!

Brian on September 7th, 2005 at 12:44:04 AM

I don't understand why anyone would even bring a PSP to school (let alone own 20 games for it).

Pfth, I carry around 1 UMD. But I have like 300 games. I <3 my memory stick.
