Mature Content?

With the eventual influx of users, minors are to be expected, so what is to be done about all the nudies and macabre art? OH NOES.

Would there be some sort of birth date thing to ensure you're over a certain age, and then images are hidden until you specifically click on them? I don't really like the idea of clicking each and every nude study or morbid piece of artwork you encounter, but there are people who might be sensitive to that sort of thing, so I don't know... Maybe a specific filtering system that permits whether you're okay with viewing ALL morbid or nude art... or both... If you're not, then all images of either one or the other (or both) are hidden and you can click on it if you want to view it.

Yeah I wonder too. Though when it's all in the eye of the beholder right? I mean for one person an piece of a nude woman is just great art for others its porn. For me it just depends how I am feeling at that point of the day XD.

A simple solution would be have it anything marked mature by the up loader, not appear to those who have not logged in. Then you would simply have an option in your profile of course automatically disabled as to whether or not mature content would be shown.

DeviantArt has a filter running, so basically when you or I submit a piece of art, we would click a button that says 'Mature Content' then, once it has been submited, it has an 'Adult content' picture if you have the filter on, and it just shows the pic like normal if the filter is off. This would be great for Vinovas.
