Great Site
Yet, as for this site. Great work. There's always a room for another art community for the people of the world to show their talents. Who cares where.
Site looks great and its not over run with junk.
Awesome job.
I think that, and a few other minor (some major) improvements could make this an outstanding community.
P.S. erissiva I like your gallary.
*lol*
One of the best things about it is.....It's clean and readable. I have two secret accounts on DA and can tell you one thing: This place is already better.
Also, to the DA refugees------if you thought that place was sinking low before, you gotta see it now. The layout is freakishly bright. Really, really bright. Gahhhh. And, it's speed is even slower and you get more and more adds. Before, I never minded adds, however, now their in your face every few seconds. O_O
And, sadly, originality is ignored most of the time on there. Fanart and fanfiction seems to rule all. It should be the other way around.
Your artwork isn't protected very well on there either. Lets say someone traces your pictures, or copies your characters/pictures, you get mad and report it----DA rarely, if ever, does anything. I've seen this happen way to many times to good artists. It sucks. Espeshally if the user is banned. Now, when someone is banned, you'd think DA would delete all the pics, sense they are no longer a member, rrrrrrrrrright? Nope. Instead, the images are still on there. The hell? I don't know, it's just......odd. (When I was banned, I just deleted mine though. It took awhile, but damn, I wasn't gonna keep my stuff on there if I couldn't do anything)
It's also odd that they keep banned users. Why? If the user can't do anything, then WHY keep them on there?

I'm another DeviantART refugee, and it looks like I've found a new home

I've never really gotten the hang of Deviant Art, but so far, I'm really enjoying this place. I think that if there were one thing I would request, would be that users would have the ability to blog.drpfenderson on September 15th, 2005 at 8:46:11 AM

Don't despair! We're working on catalogs, private messaging, and Weblogs.Scoria on September 15th, 2005 at 8:58:22 AM
On a related note, I have to admit that I completely lit up earlier upon seeing the influx of visitors. Brian and I are striving to ensure that everybody has something to enjoy here.serratedx on September 15th, 2005 at 9:08:30 AM
Scoria - I really like this place and I can't wait to see how it grows!blue_halo on September 15th, 2005 at 7:49:46 PM
Found out about this place on digg.com, and about freaked out (had to mute my reaction, I'm at the office). I quickly joined and very enthusiastic about where this place seems headed. Keep up the awesome work, and feel free to list stuff you think the community can help with. There are plenty of idle hands out here, maybe we can help?

A post has been made about the site on digg.com today. I would bet that is where alot of influx is coming from.mindfire on September 15th, 2005 at 8:25:00 PM
Great place people, if this site keeps going up, might make the move from dA to here permanent... only problem I can see is, that it looks too much like dA in my opinion... but hey its still good!drpfenderson on September 15th, 2005 at 11:41:31 PM
Yeah. I found out using that same dig link.*lol*

It's really nice to see this place getting used. I've spent a long time making the current version, and to hear that people like it makes it all worthwhile.blue_halo on September 16th, 2005 at 7:32:07 AM
Honestly i love it, I'm a fan of the clean and simple, and everything seems to work so fluidly. Some great web design work done here Brian, great job!Jeff on March 9th, 2006 at 1:34:20 AM
I don't know if I'd call myself a dA refugee (I still do post there, and visit regularly), but I'm curious to see what ths site can do that dA can't. And what ways it can improve on the dA formula.d1ssolvedgirl on April 28th, 2006 at 8:48:08 AM
I'm fresh from devart... it's nice to see a smaller, and still functional art community. :3DastardlyDevious on January 28th, 2009 at 6:14:00 PM
