Hello from a DA refugee

Hello everyone, My name is Joanna. I've been hanging around deviantART since I got into photography, so recently I thought that I would search for a new community.

Guess what? I found one! hooray! So far; this place seems awesome. I hope that everyone enjoys my photography!

I'm not sure if this is the best spot for an intro; but I hope it works non-the-less.

Yeah, I ran away from deviantART as well. I feel that this place would be full of more mature people who offer constructive criticism. That's a good thing for someone who is rebuilding her art skills from a few years ago (i.e. me).

Hey, just thought I'd say Hello, and that I too come from Deviant Art! Which I no longer agree with... So that's why I'm here instead!



I'm not too much into forums, so I doubt I'll be posting much after this.

But I'd like to also say, so far this site is looking very promising!

Keep up the good work whomever is running this site!



I'll be sure to post more drawings of mine, that is whenever I get around to finishing more.

My mum wouldn't let me do deviant art because it is deviant. This is a wonderful environment to have an art community.

I'm a DA refugee because the new interface is frustrating and makes my computer lag and run horribly. The MAIN reason I came here was because of my discovery that DA takes rights to the users work! I was appalled.



I love this community, though! It's simple and wonderful.



And I'm so proud to be a part of a community that is in it's Beta stage and to know that I'm helping to create this!

On a more serious note, I really like the tight-knit community that subVariance seems to have, without all the extra baggage and bullshit of devianTART, and I really look forward to the coming months as a member of this site. Hope you enjoy my stuff.
